Open Office 3.2 is available for download. The latest version is intended as an alternative to Microsoft Office. Advantages faster startup, ODF support, support for file ownership, support for OpenType postscript based fonts, and much more.

The suite includes basic components like word processor, spreadsheet, presentation, graphics, and formula and database capabilities. Version 3.2 boasts improvements to those components, including the Calc spreadsheet. The Chart module, meanwhile, received a "usability makeover" and includes new chart types.
